Dr. Edward "Auger" Auguter was a distinguished archaeologists and was a member of the Earth Corps by 1992 CE. He designed the agency's special suits and vehicles. The Earth Corps would later uncover what was believed to be a dinosaur skeleton encased in an amber monolith in the Big Sur National Forest and extracted the artifact and brought it to the Shore Museum in San Francisco, where the Earth Corps members were honored at a ceremony. However, the skeleton was actually the Inhumanoid D'Compose and Tendril also attacked the city, leading to a battle. During the battle, Auger went out and got a tissue sample from Tendril. The battle ended with the disappearance of Tendril and D'Compose.
The Earth Corps met at their headquarters where he proposed that the Inhumanoids went into the bay and that the Earth Corps should investigate in their submarine. He and Herc deployed to find answers to where the enemy went that way. The two followed the destruction into two miles deep in the Pacific Ocean where they found the lair of D'Compose and Tendril who attacked their submarine. Destroying the submarine, the two managed to make it to a tropical island.
They managed to safely return to headquarters where the group compared notes from their research. The Earth Corps decided to stop the Inhumanoids from freeing their leader Metlar when Tendril attacked the base.
