Hauler during the First Battle of Iacon, 8,99,990 years ago.

9 million years ago, Hauler was a member of the Constructicons and built Crystal City with his friends. He introduced his unit to Omega Supreme. He later got suspicious of his friends when they came to the construction site with different personalities, as they were brainwashed by Megatron. Crystal City was destroyed by the Constructicons and Hauler joined the Autobots.[1] 8,999,990 years ago, Hauler was at Iacon when the Decepticons under Megatron attacked with Devastator.[2] With Hauler's help, the Autobots managed to defeat Devastator and turned the tide of the battle.[3] Later during the war, Hauler and Erector neutralized the Constructicons at [[Elevation Recostalus].][4]

4 million years ago, he convinced Wheeljack to bring a Sky Spy drone on the Ark in the midst of the Second Battle of Iacon and they took off under fire to find a new source of energy. The ship came under attack by the Decepticon warship Nemesis and the ship crashed onto Earth, lodging itself in a volcano and sending the combatants into Stasis Lock.

In 1984 CE, Hauler was re-activated by his fellow Autobots with a new Earth-based vehicle form. He took part in the Earth Campaign there.

By 2013 CE, Hauler had returned to Cybertron and was one of the sole survivors of Megaplex's occupation of Cybertron. He was put under the command of City Commander Obsidian to oppose Megaplex's forces. However, their resistance was defeated.[5]

Primax 984.17 Alpha (Japan G1 Cartoon)

This universe is loosely related to Primax 984.17 Alpha, but there are some differences.

9 million years ago, Hauler was a member of the Constructicons and built Crystal City with his friends. However, Megatron brainwashed/recruited all of the Constructicons with the exception of Hauler into the Decepticon cause. Alone, Hauler joined Optimus Prime's Autobots to fight against Megatron in the Great War.[6] 4 million years ago, he was part of the crew of the Ark that abandoned Cybertron in search for a new source of energy. The ship came under attack by the Decepticon warship Nemesis and the ship crashed onto Earth, lodging itself in a volcano and sending the combatants into Stasis Lock.

In 1985 CE, Hauler was re-activated by his fellow Autobots with a new Earth-based vehicle form. Later, Hauler and Ratchet were fetched by Cliffjumper to help Hound up a cliff as Hound was injured during an attack by Decepticons while spying on them. He brought him back to the Ark.[7] Following this, Hauler was sent across Earth to look for energy. Towards the end of 1985 CE, Hauler joined back with the Autobots in a separate mission under Grapple to collaborate with the Constructicons to re-build Crystal City on Earth. The Autobots were in reality being manipulated by the Constructions.[8]
